Arctic Sun Alpacas is a small, family run alpaca farm located in South Central Alaska in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. This valley is surrounded by majestic snow capped mountains, glacial rivers, and plenty of fertile farmland. It is a very beautiful place to raise a very beautiful animal like the alpaca. Wasilla is just a one hour drive from Anchorage, allowing easy access for visitors and transporting alpacas to farms outside Alaska. Our alpacas are thriving in our sub-arctic environment. They grow thick luxurious fleeces, are exposed to less diseases and parasites, and Alaska is the only state in the USA that can ship directly to Europe. Being a small owner-operated farm allows us to give our alpacas extra attention and care, insuring excellent health and sweet gentle dispositions. We take pride in our breeding program, always utilizing quality herd sires and never forgetting the importance of conformation, fiber, and disposition.
